DANCING FOR ALL AGES

The Dance Pointe teaches dance in an encouraging, fun and friendly atmosphere. Dance is a creative and imaginative form of movement, which fosters confidence and self-awareness. It encourages physical coordination, helping students of all ages to gain balance, good posture and increased flexibility. Dance can strengthen students’ bodies, it is also a fun way of exercising!

MISS HANNAH

Hannah and her team of friendly dance teachers teach weekly classes to children and adults of all ages and abilities in Deal, Dover and Walmer. She holds the Diploma in Dance Education in Classical ballet with the ISTD and teaches students wishing to progress through their exams following the internationally accredited syllabus. She is also certified in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT).

Hannah attended dance classes from the age of 3, progressing quickly through her grades with the BBO. She then went onto train at The Royal Ballet School in the Junior, Mid and Senior associates. It was here that her love for ballet became firmly cemented.

MISS JODIE

Jodie studied a Level 3 Diploma in Musical Theatre at college where she gained 3 Distinction*, after this Jodie achieved a Level 2 qualification in Working with Children and Young Adults and now works in a Primary School as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant.


Alongside this, Jodie has gained her ISTD Diploma in Dance Education in Modern Theatre and Tap Dance as well as her Diploma in Dance Instruction in Classical ballet..

MISS NIAMH

Niamh has danced regularly since the age of 5 and has studied ISTD ballet, tap, modern, national and street dance to an advanced level.

At the age of 18, Niamh was offered a place at the prestigious Bird College to complete her professional training achieving a First Class BA Hons Degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. Niamh learnt from the very best within the theatre and dance industry and worked with many established creatives.


Niamh is also working towards her Diploma in Dance Education with ISTD.

KAYLEIGH

Kayleigh started dancing at the age of three in Deal, Kent, working her way through her RAD and ISTD dance exams. At the age of 16 she attended Millennium Performing Arts on a three year scholarship, graduating with a National Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre.

After graduating in 2011, Kayleigh went on to perform in Ballet and Irish dancing shows, as well as Christmas pantomimes up and down the country. In 2014, Kayleigh started working for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and was given the opportunity to take on the role of Dance Captain.

 

Kayleigh is studying to receive her Royal Academy of Dance Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies. She teaches our adult tap classes and our preschool dancers at Babyballet Deal and Dover.
